help required - Cubase and Mac function keys

Hi,

I’m not new to Mac or to Cubase but I am relatively new to Mac + Cubase Artist 7. I’ve looked at the forum but cannot find advice regarding the simple task of using Cubase and the function keys on the the keyboard e.g VST performance = F12. When I try this, I go straight to the screen with the date and clock etc. The only function shortcut that works for me is F3 for the mixer. I’m sure the solution is simple (just like me).
Any help gratefully received.

If you go to System Preferences, you can choose how the F keys behave in Keyboard. Tick the box to use them as standard function keys. Job done!
