Make a condensing change and put the two instruments (Horns?) into separate voices.

The better approach, as @billstevns and @rkrentzman suggest, would be to use separate voices. That would allow the voices to have different rhythmic values.

Geert, you actually don’t need Force Duration here.
Select all your notes,
Filter for Bottom Notes,
then press shift-v.
This will create a new voice for the lower notes.
