Help. Unable to load new instruments into GA 5!

As you can see from from my pic, I am trying to load an instrument into a pad with a kit called Acoustic Agent SE. No instruments at all will load. What happens is I drag the instrument name across, the pad does not give any grumble messages, but nothing happens. I have tried various positions on the pad, tried alt and or ctlr drags, nothing is working.

Is there an incompatibility thing going on?
Is there another route?
Is this normal?

I think I found the cause, its not certain, but i think it is write protected, meaning that you cannot use instruments in other kits?
Very odd, to protect Steinberg samples from other Steinberg kits?
