HELP!-UR28M-5.1 output for film configuration

Hi, I can’t set up my speakers with UR28M-5.1 output for film configuration.
Could someone help me?

What software are you using?

And is it specifically 5.1 film or SMPTE?

Hi, mostly Protools ,and Live ableton.
In fact I need only 5 channels: L;C;R; Ls, Rs.

I haven’t done surround in Pro Tools for a while now, but I know their meter and track configuration for 5.1 is a bit weird. Either way for just plain old routing use the i/o Setup window to assign specific bus channels to target interface outputs.

If you’re not used to setting it up in Pro Tools you should probably ask at duc.Avid.com. Briefly though, you can define the output order at the bottom of the window where it says “Path Order” so that any new path you create has that order. You can then re-order the outputs in the matrix by click/hold-dragging the ‘box’ with the channel to the desired output destination.
