How can I make the piano sound immediately when recording with CuBase?

Are you using the correct ASIO driver for your audio interface? That would be the first check to make.

You do this via the Studio Setup menu.

In the “Audio System” section with Studio Setup will also be the input and output latency that your audio interface driver reports, the higher these are the more latency. You need to be aiming for 15ms and below ideally.
