When I upload an AAF file that I have created in Cubase, it comes in looking like this. The audio files are just icons that can’t be opened. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks.
The AAF is just a description of what is where… you have to deliver the content as well…
You should get a dialog what should happen with the content.
If you don’t get the dialog… you didn’t provide content in the export…
Btw… Cubase to Cubase transfers can easily handled with project files…
Thanks…that made sense so I checked the size of the file, thinking I would get zero or some minimal amount. The file though is 15.36GB. Each one of the tune files is almost 4gigs.
This is how I transferred these tunes to a mixer who operates on protools. The files were successfully transferred then. I was re-importing as a check before i sent them elsewhere…to another person who operates in Logic.
I’m still confused.
