Help with cubase effects issue

Hi I’m running 11 pro and have obviously done something stupid :joy:
Some cubase effects such as squashed and frequency eq , when opened up are always in generic mode . I have checked settings but there isn’t an option to revert back so I can see the detail etc.,

Any help gratefully received.
I have opened a supportive but it could take ages .

You mean that clicking on the arrow in top-right corner or right-clicking on an empty area (not on a control) in the plug-in window doesn’t bring up this menu ? Or that clicking on the Switch to Plug-in Editor option doesn’t do anything?
