Help with Guitar signal with Cubase Pro 13

Hello all. I am just getting back to recording (my 2nd single) with my DAW (Cubase), and my new Line 6 Catalyst 60 (edit app) as my guitar signal. Bottom line…I am just not getting the signal to start recording. Lol. It has been awhile since I last recorded, and looked over my old notes, and still not getting that signal or my ‘Catalyst 60 112’…in the drop down in the audio system.

Please help! Attached are my current set ups (Edit app and my DAW). I know something is off.

God bless you all for the help! Thank you!

Screenshot 2 where it says Not Connected - you need to select your input from the drop down there

You should perhaps also be able to download a driver for the Catalyst so that you can select that rather than the generic ASIO?

But if you leave it on Generic, can you click on it on the left hand side under device set up (your screenshot 3) and post a screenshot please?

Sorry me again. You’d be better off with the catalyst ASIO driver then I think you’ll be able to record both dry and wet tracks.

Go to Line 6
Select Catalyst in the first drop-down
Drivers in the second
Then whatever OS you have in the third.

Of course!..the drivers man. Lol. I did that in my last recording, lol. Somehow, I thought I already installed the ‘latest’ drivers when I downloaded this new ‘Catalyst Edit App’.

Yes, I have Windows 11, and I checked there will be 3 driver’s for me to install. Will do that and your other recommendations as well, if needed…when I get off work today.

Thanks JP! :+1:

Catalyst Edit just allows you to change the amp parameters via PC rather than the amp interface. So it affects the tone into the “audio interface” (which is the Catalyst in your case) but doesn’t contain any of the audio interface controls as far as I know.

Feel free to drop in questions as you have them.
