Hello, I entered some piano notes in a test document and added some pedal markings. I have three questions. 1. I want the retake mark to line up with the middle of the note rather than the beginning of the note. I thought I saw this setting, but now I can’t find it. 2. Is there a way to make the retake caret shorter? This one is too tall. 3. Is there way, once I figure out these settings, to make them global to this document and save them for the future? Thanks. Once you’ve followed @StevenJones01’s advice, just look in Engraving Options > Pedal Lines > Design.
Once you have changed these settings in Engraving Options, they will apply to the whole piece. If you want to make them part of your user defaults, you can click Save as Default at the bottom of Engraving Options – but note that this will save all options in this dialog as your user defaults.
