Help with Redeem Code

Hi

I’m hoping to get help with getting a redeem code for Steinberg UR22mkII USB Audio Interface that I purchased 2nd hand.

I was wondering if it is possible to get a redeem code so that I can activate Cubase 15 ai. I did not get a download access code in the box.

Thanks in Advance for any help that can be provided.

Hi. Generally speaking, the “free” Cubase isn’t attached to the device–you just get an opportunity to acquire it when you purchase that device. The original buyer of the interface would have to give you the code (if they didn’t already use it), or they would have to transfer the license to you (if that’s still allowed these days).

I thought it would be something like that. But its certainly worth the effort to try :slight_smile:. I just wish there was somebody at Steinberg that I could contact directly to ask.

Have you tried to create a support request through your Steinberg account?

Sorry it took this long to respond.

Thanks… been there… It sends me to my local dealer that says they have no connection to the codes. So that pretty much turned into a dead end.

Thanks for making me aware. Even if they cannot access the Download Access Code database, they should have forwarded the case.
If you can provide the UR22mkII serial number and a photo of the device, I can provide a new Download Access Code. Please send it as a private message but note that I will be out of town for the next two weeks, so if you are unable to send the information today, it may take a bit.
