One of my internal drives is always split to two partitions: one for system and the second for sample libraries, impulses, midi grooves and so on. With this approach I don’t have to re-download all this stuff again after system reinstalling.
The other drive also has two partitions: one for Cubase projects and the second for user files, browser and email profiles, etc.
This organisation reduces the time required to get the pc back to work after the format c:.
