Help with upgrade path

I haven’t been able to use my Cubase Artist 6.5 setup for three years due to not having room. Now I have room but I find that the system is slow and somewhat cranky (Windows seems to want to boot into Safe mode all the time).

I’d like to upgrade my entire setup - new PC etc. as well as the latest version of Cubase Artist. I obviously have a license for my current version as well as the dongle eLicencer. Will it be straightforward to upgrade to the latest version - 8.5 to run on Windows 10? Are there any gotchas I need to be aware of?

Hi,

Yes, you can upgrade to Cubase 8.5 with no problem, and upgrade your system. After you get the Activation Code, just plug in the USB-eLicenser, and Activate the upgrade. Then install your new Cubase 8.5. You don’t need to instal Cubase 6.5 on the new system.
