Hello, dear friends
I’m very new to this technology, and I’m having problems to set up the Steinberg URmkII interphase in my computer.
I have a Mac Mini with 16 GB RA. Operating System is Sierra
Model: Mac mini
Processor: Intel Core i5
Processor speed: 2,6 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
After setting up the input to the device in my computer, I connected the microphone to input 1 of the Steinberg device, it gets the voice signal from microphone and passes it to the computer: I can talk to SIRI, and also record voice in iMovie.
Problem comes with GarageBand, as it doesn’t recognize the input from the UR22mkII.
I also cannot in any way listen to my voice via the loudspeakers (output is to a Creative System via the headphones connector. I can hear recorded music and videos from youtube without any problem by the loudspeakers.
Can you help me knowing what is wrong?
