Help with Warping, Cubasis 4, Feature requests

Hi, delighted to post. I’m working on some projects and am rediscovering Cubasis. I have been on and off since Cubasis2, am also using Loopy Pro and Drambo. I would like it if the app kept the mantle of The horisontal DAW for iOS, I wont be using logic any time soon.

I wish Icould make an extesive wishlist but there is some thing I need help with.

When I adjust tempo in a song all the clips get stretched / warped. Is there a way to turn this off? Sometimes I just want to record audio for a project, and keep working on it doing some editing.

If I decide to change the tempo on the project but keep some parts I have to export clips and it takes longer.. This seems lile a limitation that could be overcome. If I copy paste It takes longer, gets disprganized, I have have to choose a tempo for the new project anyway and clips might get stretched. Is there a way to turn off time stretch?
If not is it something that can be implemented?
I know its one of the nice features of Cubasis that it does it, but it can make lige harder (:

Features I wish for, just two:

-Easier browsing through loop recording takes. Instead of having to drag them out to a seperate lane it would be nice if it opened a window showing all the takes in that area.

Maybe there is a way to do this but
-Having different tempo in different parts of the song.

Is it possible to be contacted about Beta if you are working on releases?

Thanks for the App!

Hi @smund

Thanks for your message.

With Cubasis 3.7 we’ve added the long-awaited tempo and signature track support.

Real-time time-stretch and pitch-shift has been introduced back in Cubasis 2.

You may check out the linked tutorial below, to learn how to use the features instantly with Cubasis.

Hope that helps.

Best,
Lars
