Help!!

I’m new to cubase and recently purchased a Yamaha AG03 Mixing Console Interface, I’ve been trying to record vocals and a piano track into cubase but nothing ever records into it. Every time I open a new project it comes up with;
microphone (high definition 1) ---- in–unmapped
microphone (high definition 2) ---- in–unmapped

I have a 1 microphone set up into my interface which i can hear through my headphones, I’ve watched the tutorials and nothing has helped. I’m starting to get quite upset and extremely frustrated as I’ve spent a lot of money and saved for a long period of time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
First you should describe your Equipment (Computer, operating Systems, cubase version and so on)
Have you installed the ASIO drivers for your interface? Have you selected this driver in cubase and configered the input and Output channels? Are the Meters for the input channels showing Signal ?
Did you read your manuals?
