I thought I had some memory of rendering midi or external tracks but couldn’t find. Created a Halion track, copying midi track to it and assigned to midi 1, with a piano sound I liked. sounded good. Then I did the same thing with another midi track and assigned to midi 2, with a cello sound I had liked, also satsified. I had muted the other track to hear just the cello, and now to hear together, I unmuted the piano. And as that plays, and the acitivity on the cello continued, but now no cello sound, just the piano. Not muted, up in the mixer. All I did was unmute the one and now the other has no sound.
Made another track with chords and that sounds with the piano. Don’t know why the above is silent.Hi,
On your screenshot, we can see the following:
- Cello Slow (slot 1): is Muted by user
- [GM 043] Cello (slot 2): is Soloed by user
- Slots 3-16 are inherit Muted due to solo of Slot 2
Tha tmeans:
- There is no Piano sound. Slot 1 uses (other) Cello sound.
- If you unsolo Slot 2 ([GM 043] Cello), the slot 1 remains muted, as the user did it manually. That means: Slot 1: Muted | Slots 2-16 no Solo/Mute.
It was the piano sounding in another Halion while the cello audio in this one stopped when I unmuted the piano in the other Halion. The cello in slot one was a mistake but I don’t know how to empty it. But when I was adding another Halion with a 3rd part, and adjusting the mixer, I noticed that its sound stopped when I panned to one side. I moved to the middle and went back to the cello and got back sound when I panned. I don’t know why there should have been no sound when panned to one side. But today all the Halion’s sound and panning only changes the ratio and no cutting out. So I don’t know what was going on, but now, so far everything is sounding.
