Hidden disabled MIDI channels appears again when reopening projects

Hi!

I have some midi channels in my projects that arent’t connected to any instruments. They are channels that include midi parts as backup. These channels are imported from projects I received from a client for mixing, into a new project in my computer. I disabled and then hidden them. So far so good. But when I reopen the project to start working again in a different occasion, I see that those channels get back into visibility which is quite annoying and obviously this is a bug. I am just wondering if this is something that is known to anyone (couldn’t find anything when searching the forum) and if there is something that I maybe miss that I can do to fix this locally.

Running on Cubase 13.0.30 in macOS Sonoma 14.5

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi,

I haven’t seen this report and I can’t reproduce it here in my side.

In any case, I would recommend you to update to the latest Cubase 13.0.41.

Thanks for your reply! I will update and see if that might help.

I am seeing the same behavior on Cubase 13.0.41. I have two MIDI tracks that I previously created using my Yamaha MOXF8 as a MIDI controller running through midi cables into a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 and then into my computer via USB. I have previously disabled and hidden these tracks in older versions and “Save As…” iterations of the project, but they are “unhidden” (although still disabled) upon reopening Cubase.
