I’m using the Hitpoint detection → MIDI Notes function to extract hits from distinct drum tracks (kick, snare, hh etc). Ideally I want the notes to end up in the same MIDI object, so I repeat the process for the different tracks:
It works great the first time - but when I continue adding from another track, the notes kind of dissappears in the MIDI editor, though not completely - they play and I can see them in the track lane object and in the top of the MIDI editor, but the notes from previous transfer are gone, as if they are hidden (notice how the notes that are missing look dimmed in the top bar):
The Drum Editor shows lower notes on top and higher notes at bottom (on your screenshot we can see C#-2 on top and B0 at the bottom). Search for the other notes lower.
Sorry, that is just my inaccurate documentation, look at this recording - I scroll through the whole area - I can only see the notes I just added via the transfer function described above - where are the lower ones?
I was looking for an overlap as well. The first screenshot doesn’t indicate an overlap, the second one does, though. Is there a setting to surpress the overlap marking of parts in the project view (diagonal lines)?
