Hide all clefs

I want to make MS paper for a score with 14 brass instruments, with many double handed players (and hence, often a different type of clef at various points).

Is it possible to hide all clefs? The composer would simply hand write the appropriate clef as needed.

What I read and try seems to indicate this is not possible.

Would I have to export to Inkscape and delete the clef objects? That would not be too onerous.

Dorico has an invisible clef—would that work for you here?

Library > Music Symbols > Clefs : set each clef’s Scale to 0.

You bet! How do you get it? Is that a keyword in the clef popup? [I suppose I should RTFM.]

Shift-C, invisible, enter (it’s actually a G clef, so it’s possible it causes problems)

Also from the right panel, under uncommon clefs:

Should you need an invisible bass clef, @FredGUnn provided one somewhere in this forum (you can see it next to the factory one on my screenshot.)

OK. ‘invisible’ - and works for the first clef in the first system.

In the right panel, there is a clef with a C an no label. You have to mouse over to find out what is is. A feature request: add labels in that panel. That’s why I never saw it.
