Is there any chance I can replace this “tacet al fine” with a bar count, just like in the preceding sections?

You cannot change the automatic “tacet al fine” text at the end of a multibar rest into a number via a preference or layout option; that option only exists in Dorico’s Engraving Options.
The only workarounds inside Cubase right now are:
- Leave consolidation on, but cover/replace the text manually
- Add a text item “6” (or whatever count) above the multibar rest and position it where you expect the number.
- If “tacet al fine” is colliding visually, you can try reducing its font size via the text style editor, or hide it by setting that text style’s color to white in that layout so only your manual number is visible. (Cubase doesn’t yet offer per‑instance hiding of that specific auto label, so this is a hacky engraving workaround.)
- Disable that long final multibar rest and fake it
- In Layout Settings → Bar Rests, temporarily set Consolidate = None so the end section shows single‑bar rests again.
- Draw your own multibar‑rest graphic and bar count with symbols and text, as we discussed earlier, only for that last “tacet” section.
