I’ve seen people with this problem, but I have found no solution on this forum. Only discussions about workarounds and such, but I don’t want a workaround, I want the function within Dorico to work as intended.
Lately I have discovered that if I use D.C. al fine Dorico places cautionary key signatures at the end of the system. Rather ugly placement too, and it can’t be removed (or moved at all). I’ve tried the normal tools in the lower window, to hide cautinaries at end. Does not work. I’ve set the program (in Notaion options) to always hide cautionaries. Does not work. Is this a bug??
What can I do? It is the only bad thing, otherwise Dorico is in my opinion perfect.
I suppose one can either use the “work-around” or wait patiently until a built-in solution appears. Of course the existence of a work-around may make the timing of a built-in solution less important to the Development Team than it is to resistant users.
