Hide Condensed Staff Label Numbers

Hello,

Is there a way to hide or turn off numerals for a condensed instrument for the score? Thanks for the help!

Hi,

In Paragraph Styles; you could set the Staff Labels (Inner) font to 0 pts and make it transparent.

How do I make it transparent, though?

Switch on “Foreground colour” (bottom of the dialog)

Click the black rectangle next to it, then in the dialog, set the Alpha Channel to 0 (this is on Windows, I know that it’s a bit different on Mac, but there must be a “transparency” button or something like this)

Charles gave you a solution, but here is another possibility.
Set both player names to “2nd & 3rd Bb Trumpet”. Then in layout options, use player names for staff labels:

The result in the score is like this – also see how the players are setup to the left:

This is the best way to do it, if you in the same score have players where you do want to show the numerals.
