Hide notes entirely

How do I hide notes, stems, beams, everything?

In Engrave mode->Properties panel, there are both hide notehead and hide stem. And hide ledger lines.

Now I still see the beams and the accidentals. How to temove them too?

Really really remove everything but the staff

Beams should be hidden when stems are hidden. Accidentals can be set to hide. Can you show an image? Unless you only hide the stems on some notes in a beam group.

Depending on what you are trying to do, or if you ever need small slashes in the project, the “Blank Notation” workaround might be useful. I use it reasonably often anyway.

Feature request: hide slash region or create blank notation region

Do you ever use Small Slashes in your project? If not, go to Engrave/Notehead Sets/Slashes/Small Slash Noteheads, click the Edit Notehead pencil then delete the small slash noteheads so the entire set is just blank. Apply Slash notation to the bars containing the music you want to hide, then click the Small Slashes checkbox in Properties. [smallslashes]

I mean the lines you now still see, 4 of them. They should disappear too.

What happens if you select the first 4 notes, right-click->Beaming->Beam together. The same for the last 5 notes?

If it’s just for playback, you can create an extra staff above with all the notes. (right-click->staff->Add staff above) After adding the notes, click the +1 staff signpost and delete it. It will still play back. Or just add the ones you want hidden.
