Hide playing techniques when printing

Hi there,

I developed some custom playing techniques (represented by very concise symbols) that I do not want to be printed.

I am aware of the hide property. But I really would like to see them in Write mode but not in Engrave Mode.

Having searched the forum there is probably no such option but would like to ask anyway.

Hidden custom playing techniques turn into signposts. You can create a keyboard shortcut to toggle the setting: Key Commands → View → Hide Signposts.

Another solution seems to be to create a new Layout in the Setup Page, hide the playback techniques there and use this layout for printing.
