I want the cues not to show rests, including on the pickup bar. But if I remove that rest, all the rests on the full score get removed as well.
So, in Notation Options, under Rests > Bar rests in cues, you’ve chosen “Omit bar rests”, but the one in the pickup bar remains, is that right?
It should be possible to select this rest in the part, and in the properties: set local properties to “Locally”, then in the “Common” section, activate “Color”, click the black rectangle on the right and make the rest transparent (on Mac, I think you must set the opacity cursor to 0, on Windows, enter 0 in the “Alpha channel” field and press OK.)
That’s what I’ve done as a compromise. It works, but it feels like a bit of a hack
