I searched on this forum but couldn’t find if it’s easily possible (without using percentage/color tricks) to hide an item only in parts (or in score)?

PS See example to see what I mean: the vertical line is only needed in the score and not in the parts.
The line will only appear in one part, the part to which the instrument on which the line was created belongs. But you will nevertheless need to hide it by way of a trick like changing its custom scale factor or its colour.
Ok! That was how I did it but not an optimal workflow. Any intentions of to see that changed in the future? 
Certainly we don’t rule it out, but I don’t anticipate a completely general purpose means of hiding every musical item.
