Is there a way to hide the time signature in the marked section?
When I click “Hide” in the panel, the time signature in the 9th bars is also hidden.
So it is showing after an incomplete measure. Does deleting that incomplete measure produce what you want in terms of the time signature?
That’s a cautionary time signature, showing that the time signature changes in the next system. You can hide it by selecting the time signature and enabling this in the Properties panel:
But it’s a little unusual not to warn the player that the time signature is about to change. (It also looks a little unusual to have a 4/4 bar that only contains one eighth note.)
