How do I hide the clef only in the indicated areas?
I’m not at my computer but if you select the actual clef in the next system, there may be a Hide cautionary clef property (or something like that). It may only be available in Engrave mode but I can’t remember.
It’s not on the panel.
Hi @k.k, even if I don’t understand your convoluted setup, my suggestion would be to separate instrument A and B into separate players, so you don’t have any cautionary (and no instrument change), but again I don’t understand your setup and this may not be what you want:

Because the ab player holds both A and B instrument: with this setup you have instrument change/s, which show then the needed clef changes. If you separate the instruments A and B into different players, as I said, you will not have instrument changes and consequently no clefs changes.

Hi, if for some reason you don’t want to separate the players, two questions:
- Are there part layouts in this project or is this just a piano-voice score?
- There’s a system break at that spot. Are there other places where you want the same result but where there’s no system break? I’m asking because you could use a coda — it would work in the score as you’re showing it, but it wouldn’t be ideal if there are part layouts, and it wouldn’t be possible in places without a system break.
Only the piano-voice score is available.

Why did the “system break” error occur?
Would the instrument separation suggested by Christian_R be better?
It’s not an error. If one player has two instruments with different clefs, there is going to be a clef change when you switch instruments. I don’t understand your setup either and you’re not explaining why you did this or what you want to achieve, but I’m confident that separating them will almost certainly be the better option. Dorico can be very flexible but this seems like you’re trying to drill a hole with a hammer.
Probably, unless you need some functions of instrument changes, like switching A/B on the same staff mid-system.
Without more details it’s really hard to say.
It looks like another solution would be to enter a Chord Symbol Region in B staff, on bar 7.
