Hide waveform while slip editing?

Hi,

Did a quick search on this, and either couldn’t find the right keywords, or it wasn’t asked. I’m doing slip editing lately, and while zoomed in, I noticed when holding the slip command (alt+ctrl), the old waveform location is shadowed. I don’t remember this in 6. Is there any preference to not show waveform data while dragging/slipping events?

Isn’t the whole idea of sliding a method of very precise placement? Would seem odd to me if the waveform disappears - or I simply don’t get the question :question:
