Hiding Chord Diagram Grid from Top Frame Without Page Override

I’m trying to create scores with chord diagrams enabled at the start of the flow, but I also need to add a strumming pattern above the title (client request), as shown in the example below.

However, I can only achieve the desired result by manually unlinking the frame chain on the page, which removes the chord diagrams from the upper frame.

If I try to unlink the frame chain from the master page template, which is what I’d prefer, the chord diagrams still appear in the frame. Am I missing something, or is it simply not possible to do this without a page override?

This is one possibility:
2 flows, with 2 instruments, and manual staff visibility changes. Also made an adjustment to the Flow Headings template to hide the Flow Number.
