Hiding note heads doesn't work

Hey guys,
Yesterday, I wanted to hide the note stems in a small project and found that it doesn’t work. Hiding note stems works, but note heads don’t. Does anyone know why this is? It doesn’t work in Dorico 6.2 either. Windows.

This seems to work for me here - can you attach a small project that demonstrates the problem?

Just to be clear, when you select a notehead and active the Hide Notehead property, at first there’s no visible change, because the note is still selected.

But as soon as you click away from the note, you should see that it turns gray (assuming that you have View > Note and Rest Colors > Hidden Noteheads enabled).

This is different from Hide Stem, which makes the stem invisible right away.
