I noticed that if I reposition a track in a project, a lane is created sometimes. I can’t seem to find a away to get rid of the “Lane” Can you advise?

Deactivate the lanes for the track.
Normally, it doesn’t get activated by itself.
But maybe you’re referring to something completely different?
