I want to create a project with a single stave. Is there a way to avoid having a part name for it? If not, can I hide the part name?
In Layout options>Staves and Systems>Labels, you can set everything to None and no name will appear on the score. In Setup mode, you can give the instrument whatever name you want, and the Player should receive it automatically, and you also can edit it to change it. So you’re free to do what you want !
The full score does not show any Layout name, but if you want to use a Part layout, simply edit the First page template (double click the template, in the right panel of Engrave mode) and get rid of that first text frame that has {@Layoutname@} and you’re done
