How do you hide stems now that there is no more Engrave mode?
There is still Engrave mode in Dorico Pro and Elements. Do you have Dorico SE?

If you have Pro or Elements, maybe check that your license is active in the Steinberg Activation Manager app. It’s actually the same app, Pro, Elements, and SE. The license determines which to open.
Wow, thanks for your quick reply! I haven’t kept up with the recent updates. My file opened with SE6 somehow, so I think I need to upgrade my Dorico Elements from version 5 to 6. I’ll try that and see if that solves my issue!
You should receive an activation code by mail if you do. You need that to activate it in the Steinberg Activation Manager. You enter the code in the Steinberg Download Assistant.
It’s also possible that you held down Opt + Cmd (Mac) or the Ctrl key (Windows) while launching Dorico. That way, you can open SE if you have Pro or Elements.

You were right! It was opening the file with SE6 instead of Pro5. Just updated to Elements6 and all is well. Thank you for your help!
