Is it possible to add hidden time signatures via the popover?

I’m pretty sure you have to go to Properties to hide them.

Depending on your situation, you can amend bar durations using the Global Adjustment of Current Bar Insert mode scope.

You can change Library > Note Input Options > Insert Mode settings so that time signatures created during these operations are automatically hidden.

thanks but that doesn’t really help me.
I would love to have possibility to hide time signature while changing them with the popover. Maybe by starting with a special letter.

In fact, it’s meant to be the case that entering e.g. (4/4) would create a hidden time signature, but this doesn’t seem to be working for some reason. I will look into why.
