Hiding tremolo

Hi, I want the two As of the bottom voice to be tied but I want tremolo marking only on the first one. How do I hide the marking or have dorico write it just for the first note?

Put the 2nd A in a different voice. Select each using ctrl-click and then Tie.

There is no need for an additional voice. You can switch to engrave mode, select the tied-to note and set the property Single stem tremolo to None:
