Hiding unwanted pages

When working in Layout, I’m deleting the default music frame of page 1 and make my own worksheet setting, all flows are moving to the consecutive pages. What means I have my proper page 1 as I want it, but have many other pages showing all flows again, what I really don’t need. Is there any way to get rid of them and having 1 page only?

We need to see the document, really; but as ever: check you haven’t got page overrides (red triangles on the page icons in Engrave mode), signifying manual adjustments.

Will upload tomorrow! I’ve been doricoing today more than 6 hours, better not to open my laptop now:) but thanks in advance:)

how to delete last two pgs.dorico (965.1 KB)
See attached file please. The first two pages is what I really need. How can I get rid of the rest?

As I suspected: you’ve made manual changes to every page (except the last).

First thing to do is remove the manual changes to pages 3 and 4.

Now, we still have the same pages. Why? Because Dorico wants to put the music on the “MA” frame that is in the Default Page Template. You’ve laid out your pages manually.

If you remove the Music frames from your default page template, then you’ll just have your two pages.

But – if you plan to do more of these, I’d strongly recommend making the layout on the Default page template. Then you can automatically use it for more pages, and you can use it for more documents easily.
