High latency with Cubasis on ChromeOS

I am using Cubasis 3.5.2 on a (powerful) Chromebook.

I have 16 GiB of ram and an i7-1185G7 @ 3.00GHz (11th gen Intel CPU).

I am trying to record my guitar with a Nux MG-30 plugged via USB.

The recording is just fine, but the latency is too high.

I have disabled multi-core and that improved things, but latency is still too high.

I have used the same hardware setup on a different laptop running Linux with Ardour 7 and things were working perfectly (no noticeable latency at all).

What can I do to make cubasis usable?

Thank you for your message and a warm welcome to the Cubasis forum.

The performance of Cubasis for Android is strongly related to the Android device in use.

You may give it a try to epxeriment with the Multi-core Processing and Audio Recording Offset Compensation settings. You can also check to manually move the recorded events.
