In Dorico 3, I notice that a green vertical line follows playback. Is it possible (in any version) to have playback highlight the currently playing notes instead?

If this is implement, I hope it can be turned off. It would give me a feeling of one of those learning tools for kids…

No, at the moment there is no such option.
