Highlight selected track and background

I’ve seen this asked before.
When you select a track, it would be helpful for the entire track to be highlighted or change color, (like when you select a lane). right now It’s like following spreadsheet lines and easy to select something on the wrong track.

Secondly, I know that we can auto zoom in on a selected track. It would be nice to have a setting it return to former zoom size when you de-select it.

Maybe the “Undo Zoom” key command is already helpful to you? It is what I am using and for me it works nicely.
