We are live! Information on the supporting radio show to come as soon as I know when it’ll be.
Don’t see any updates to revenue.
That’s because there really haven’t been any. We’ve sold 3 complete albums (before volume 2 went live) and 1 single.
But I will update the figures.
Good work guys. I got some people who already told me they will at least buy the single, so I guess that’s better than nothing.
Been ill the past couple of days, how do I ever catch up on all the posts again
I’ll fess up, my dear old Mum bought album # 1… And she does not even like modern music… she’s into supporting the cause however…
<3 to your Mum
Also, a spate of semi-good news…a friend of my wife is a makeup artist that regularly works at the Manhattan affiliate of ABC (major television network). She said that although she isn’t scheduled to do a job there for another few weeks she will happily mention this project to someone there.
I know that she has done Liz Chou’s (prime time news co-anchor) makeup so hopefully this will be the person she talks to. She definitely understands that our challenge has been in getting the message out, so I’m sure she’ll put some thought into selecting an appropriate individual(s).
… URL in red lipstick on forehead?
Sounds good Larry…
Actually, my wife (who is a makeup artist also) has special effects experience from when she worked in film (LA). She put a prosthetic nipple on my bald head once making it look like one giant boob.
Pictures or it didn’t happen!
You thought I was kidding?
I emailed All Hands Volunteers to give them an update on the disappointing sales, and got this in return:
Hi Larry,
Thanks for keeping me in the loop.
I feel how you feel, as it is kind of the same way when you are fundraising for natural disasters. For example we raised thousands of dollars in response to Sandy, but only a few hundred in response to the typhoon that happened a couple of weeks ago in the Philippines. What keeps me going is knowing that I’m doing the best that I can, and knowing people might be helping in other ways that I probably don’t know about. So even though $56 may not seem worth the effort now, know it all adds up in the karma bank and you never know what may happen.
And I don’t know if you know or not, but we added the albums to our website: > http://hands.org/2012/11/18/sound-of-humanitys-albums-benefiting-all-hands/ > - to let our followers know how you are trying to help us.
Cheers,
Terri
Very Cool Larry.
Big ‘Thank You’ to both you and Tom for all you guys have done.
Regards,
John

Here here!
Baloney. Tom deserves all of the credit. I’m on Facebook and email about 23 hours out of the day so it’s not like I had to go out of my way to do the stuff I did. Tom, however, had to make time in between clients, his own repairs, etc. to do what he did.
I forgot to mention that I will be back on HomeGrownRadioNJ.org tonight at 7pm EST to discuss final thoughts on the project and spin a few tracks from Volume 2.
This whole credit thing is nonsense. It took everyone to make this happen. I will gladly share in that and nothing more.

We are a team.
Nice work all!
Would love to hear a recording of the 2nd radio show too!
