"Horizontal alignment of stems relative to enclosed fret numbers" doesn't work?

I’m afraid but it seems “Horizontal alignment of stems relative to enclosed fret numbers” doesn’t work. It is always “Centered” and nothing happens when I switch it to “Edge of fret number”. Please let me know if I miss something, thank you.
