Horizontal Displacement of Notes

notation of percussion instruments in an orchestral setting in one system to save horizontal space like a drumset notation (partly common practice in concert band scores).
How to move a note horizontally? The slider/knob in the properties window is without function.

Change stem direction of snare is not intended since it will create a conflict with tied notes and bass drum later on that page.

P.S.: Could not find anything in the forum on that topic using the dorfor search method…

My message again contains too few characters, what the hell?

See https://steinberg.help/dorico/v1/en/dorico/topics/notation_reference/notation_reference_voices_voice_column_index_r.html

Once you’ve got your voice column index set correctly, you can use the Note Spacing Tool (turn on the switch in the left panel of Engrave mode) and use Alt+arrow keys to nudge individual notes as you wish. You need to click the little square first, and then if there are multiple notes at the same rhythmic location (with different voice column values) little circles will appear. You can then click those and nudge them left or right using Alt+arrow keys.

And I’ve never seen the message about containing too few characters/words - either it’s new or it’s a bug!
