Is there any way to displace whole- og halfnote rests horizontally? - especially if they stand “synchrone” to other notes?
You might want these to be placed near the middle for their duration.

No. You could instead create a custom playing technique that looks like one, and position it wherever you wish. You’d need to hide the real one.
