Hello, I have a client who would like to have the Player group labels horizontal instead of vertical. Is this possible?
Not directly, maybe fake it with a Divisi?
That’s true, but he has different amounts of singers in many different groups, and very often not all of the singers from each group will be displayed at any given time, so the divisi names might end up in odd places. That’s why I was looking for a simple text-rotation effect.
In the case of the Padovani and Scienziati horizontal names can neatly tuck in between the player names because there’s an even number of staves. But the Angeli and Diavoli in this example have an odd number of staves, so there would be a whole lot of white-space needed to avoid a collision, if the names were horizontal. Maybe instead there could be an option to display the group names above the groups, like here in RVW’s Tallis Fantasia.
