Horn plays coperto when no coperto in score

Latest Dorico, playback with NotePerformer.
Fr. horn part plays back as supposed to: when + sign is above the note then coperto, otherwise aperto. And today when entering Horn part: suddenly notes without + sign start to play back coperto. Add ord. and playback is normal again. I cannot see the pattern. Earlier in the same score aperto/coperto play back normally, without adding any marking to open notes. This happens in all 4 horn parts and all notes are in the same upstem voice 1.

I solved this myself.
Found the reason- the + sign entered with StreamDeck was NOT the stopped horn plus sign. The + signs previously entered in Finale and transferred via MusicXML are correctly translated as stopped horn and therefore playback works as supposed.
After deleting similar looking but wrong + signs and replacing them with correct ones the problem ceased to exist. Lesson learnt.
