Horrible distorted noise when recording audio

I’ve recently upgraded to Cubase 15 pro. My soundcard is a behringer u-phoria. I can play back all audio through it but when I come to recording any audio into the DAW all I get back is a wall of squealing distortion. In audio connections it says built in Steinberg ASIO driver and the device port is the UMC404 behringer.

Any help appreciated

Get the device specific driver from behringer and use that instead of Steinberg ASIO driver
