How can I add a sound to a track?

I simply liked the idea of using Tracks on it’s own. Would love to simply drag and drop a layer or sound inside there and see it not on the Layers page as I only want to use it for the tracks - nothing else…
Also would love if I could do what I described before - add a custom MIDI track that has already pre configured options and an already chosen standard layer inside… Therefore I think it wouldn’t be handy if I needed to set an additional layer first in order to achieve this, in case VST Live would then not automatically load that seperate layer in the Layer’s tab?

Good ideas, we’re checking what can be done.
