Hi, everyone. Is it possible to create a single piano part then assign channel 1 input to the treble clef and channel 2 to the bass clef?
I created a single piano part, then tapped the “Enable IVP” button, so I can now see Staff(a) and Staff(b) listed. Each of these have a “1” after it. Is this the channel number? If so, where do I go to assign this channel number?

No, the 1 is the number of the Up or Down-stem Voices.
You change the channel in the usual way: select the now independent voice, and set the channel in the Routing panel to the side.
Thank you for replying. I finally figured out that a subscription is required in order to set the channels.
There’s no subscription for Dorico on the Desktop.
Dorico on the iPad requires either a pay-by-month fee, or you can make a one-time perpetual payment (which is actually a very good deal, because you’ll get the iPad equivalent of Dorico 6, 7, 8… for no money!)
I think there’s an initial demo period? I could be wrong. Otherwise, you can just pay 1 month and see how you get on.
