How Can I Change Plug-In Folders Scanned At Startup?

Cubase is apparently having an issue with a third-party plugin or something. It’s freezing during the start-up scan. I would like for it to only scan the Steinberg/VSTPlug-Ins directory.

What would be best is if I could pick particular plug-ins for it scan/load at start-up. I would for sure want the factory Cubase plug-ins and instruments as well as my Spitfire Audio BBC Symphony Orchestra plug-in. If I could also pick just a couple of specific plug-ins from a directory that contains several plug-ins, that would be great.

Ideas?

Hi,

Studio > VST Plug-in Manager > VST2 Plug-in Path Settings. Here you can Add or Delete Paths.

Just a remark…
with the Plug-In manager it should be possible to do a scan to identify the “bad” plugin…
then you can move it out of the way…
or sometimes it gets blacklisted and doesn’t load in the future…
